I've been using my Fractal builds on and off.
I just recently after a little bit of not using my Fractal 65 build and was surprised at the kick it has.
Love it.

I want to build many more.

Recently took it out and did decently in some winds, can be quite windy in Scotland.

This is my second Fractal 65 build....
First was just under 20 grams with motor plugs.
It flies great and I love it!
So this time I learnt to solder....
Fractal 65 frame.
Air 65 AIO FC
Beta and Happymodel motors. 27,000 front and 28,000 rear. 2 "peek" and 1 steel screw in each.
Mobula6 ducts.
Beta C02 camera (still with plug)
HQ Ultralite 31mm props.
Modified dipole antenna and BT2.0 battery lead/plug.
17.68 grams this time....
And it flies so much better than the first build. VERY fast and nimble.
I absolutely LOVE it !!!!
I also modified some 300mah batteries to fit between the ducts as I was looking for a "low profile" build. Great COG and balance.
While not as efficient as folded cells I still get 3 to 4 minutes blasting around the house and out a window into the garden.
I have some idea's for a lighter build yet and will try and better "Head's" 16.4 grams....
I would HIGHLY recommend this frame/platform for a strong, durable and fun build.
Especially the way it doesn't warp like the plastic frames over time and the motors all stay on the same "plane"

I love this thing so much, I take it just about anytime I go flying or on vacation, at the end of the day I unwind and soar for almost 18 minutes with a molicell p30b and it doesn’t feel lacking of power, it also just soars so nicely, I love the way it is tuned, it’s just so smooth and it glides like butter, I got the analog version with the upgraded cam, and then I added a nice antenna and ELRS and now I can go 1km out in an urban and I feel perfectly confident in this craft. I wish my whole fleet flew this long! I really thought the novelty of the folding and 18650 would wear off, but both those features are actually why I take it everywhere, it fits in the sunglasses pocket of the my backpack, and the batteries are so simple to charge, quite frankly I don’t know where I would be without this little guy!
