Grave mistakes were made.

I am now the proud owner of nearly 500 unsellable boostybabies.

• They’re 1.6mm thick instead of 0.6 (making them HEAVY, at 0.56g vs 0.35)
• They’re HASL finished instead of ENIG
• And worst of all, they’re green instead of purple 💀

Other than that they are perfectly functional, perform just about the same as the standard boostybabies on all measured metrics – power delivery, noise and operating voltage range – but I can’t sell them on the same level because of these outrageous reasons.

However,

I couldn’t just let them go to waste; so I thought I could cut you a deal.

As a reminder, for those that strongly believe the boostybabies are way too expensive for a booster. (is it even really?)

Because I make them to fit in your aircraft, most likely to power flight critical equipment such as your VTX, meaning failure = death, I take a whole lot of care making sure each of them performs up to the highest standard.

The design was optimized for minimum size/weight, while producing maximum power at minimum noise, down to a minimum battery voltage. This took a lot of iterations and tuning to nail just right.

Next, even when not manufactured in house, every single Boostybaby is thoroughly tested through a custom developed test protocol, with a whole stack of lab grade test equipment, and the results logged into a sheet for batch to batch, panel to panel and board to board traceability.

All of that is made by hand, along with finishing touches like sanding the edges and final cleanup.

It is a premium product, thoroughly tested for critical applications.

And I’m happy to say I am yet to receive a single failure or DOA claim to date.

But enough with the yapping, what’s the deal?

Well they should remain perfectly suitable for any application, but I would rather price them to move fast, so I thought I could cut the testing out and offer them in bulk;

This way you can use them in all your static (embedded, iot etc…), less weight critical (planes, cars?) or even use them in your 1S quadcopter anyway, who’s gonna stop you?
