Description:
If 2023 taught us anything, it’s that whoops are getting fast
Not only that, but with the growth of HD they’re also getting phat.
And if Newton taught us anything, that’s a recipe for snapping motor shafts.
So with Heads at Infinityloops we put our 2.5 braincells together and thought, how could we not do that so much?
What came out of this supercluster of infinite knowledge and experience,
Is a new color.
Silver to symbolize the absence of paint metallic robot lady’s soul
And Teal blue because pretty. Also to better match the Infinity Loops Signature F75 kit ofc π
Oh yes, and the shaft is 1.5mm in diameter all the way through,
As well as shorter in length than the 1.0mm counterpart by about 2mm, helping recoup some of that gained girth weight
The result is a remarkably lightweight motor that doesn’t compromise on durability
Also pretty.
Brought to you by Heads and Yves, we hope you have a blast with it and it helps you not hold back as much for fear of snapping shafts π

They get hot when they are under load with props that are too big, but that’s to be expected from any motor and high kv means lower torque and the more it has to work, the hotter it’s going to be.
I ordered some crap on AliBaba, like the esc/receiver module and the body ($7 for a flat 75mm cutout of carbon fiber) and found a 3d print plan for the camera holder. VTX is hd-zero digital (not the best, not the worst).
First motors were Happymodel 0802 and, true to their word, they are a happy model, but these bring some pizzaz.
It is my first drone, so these are the only things so far that make it look like its builder didn’t just pull the drone from his nose.
Took a while to get here though. Honestly forgot I ordered them. I built 2 other drones in the time it took for these to arrive and parts for those things still had to make it through customs.
Haven’t crashed this thing yet, but I’m waiting on some new goggles before letting it free enough to smash it into trees and people with reckless abandon. They won’t mind being hit by nips though. I can already tell.

The motors that are built well worked great. Good power and very responsive. Unfortunately these suffer from Inconsistent quality control. Two of the four motors had a solder blob on the windings. The bell on two of the motors also moves up and down too much and will hit the windings on a crash. This was out of the box. Fractal Engineering replaced both motors with ones that are very well made.
I ordered 4 more of these from a different vendor (same manufacturer, just different branding) and one of the motors has the windings too close to the bell and it hits the bell on a crash. It damaged the windings. So clearly this is a quality issue that the manufacturer needs to figure out. They are great motors when they are made correctly. I just haven’t had much luck.
I recommend thoroughly checking them when you receive. Check for blobs, that the windings are not too close to the top of the bell, and that the bell can not be pressed into the windings. If you don’t have any of those problems then get ripping!

Real quality motors, super smooth and plenty of power. Perfect match for my Fractal 75. They also look amazing!!
Big fan of the Fractal motors I also have the 0802 22500 on my 65mm racers.

These are a big step up from the rs0802’s that I’ve been using for awhile. I really notice the performance when I’m trying to prevent a crash/recovering from a maneuver. They have much more punch over the 20000kv.

Top Shelf motors from the collective minds of a top pilot and top engineer. I’ve always loved the ex series 802’s, however, durability had always been their biggest downside. No more.
I purchased these to test out a new Ultralight triblade 40mm prop from HQ, and hot damn, what a combo! Now that I’ve completed testing, they’ll live on a Fractal 75 with the HDZero AIO5, and a Lux cam. No brainer, if you love 75mm freestyle. Well done, Yves & Heads!! π«‘πππ»

I run these on my Fractal75 build, and they’re awesome. PCB so that I can repair the motors, strong unibell, and the 1.5mm shaft, which means no more broken motors. Super smooth on the power delivery, too, and all while being light? these are my favorite motors!
I originally received a defective motor which Yves was very quick to replace, which I greatly appreciated.

These new 0802 25,000kv motors with a 1.5 shaft are perfect for a flyer that crashes a lot π They run super smooth, More low end torque then 1mm shaft motors, perfect for flying indoors 65mm & 75mm Fractal whoops… I have two fractal 65 & two 75mm whoops and these motors have worked the best of all the motors I have tried… I also like the Fractal/HappyModel 0802 22,5kv motors… If you race you will crash and this 1.5mm shafts make a big difference in durability… These motors have durability and power all in one :-)))) I would recommend these motors to any serious racer/freestyle pilot…
